Family home in quiet rural area, 4 bedroom detached house with 2 rooms available to rent. Car essential.
Room 1 - Double bedroom for single occupancy (3m x 3.7m). We call it "The White Room". Double bed, clothes rail, drawers,desk and chair, lamp and electric heater. Main family bathroom with shower, bath and shower, WC and hand basin shared only by female students in the house. Family have their own bathrooms. Breakfast and dinner included.
Room 2 - Double bedroom for single occupancy (3.3m x 5m). We call it "The Green Room". Double bed, wardrobe, desk and chair, lamp and electric heater.Main family bathroom with shower, bath and shower, WC and hand basin shared only by female students in the house. Family have their own bathrooms. Breakfast and dinner included.
Both rooms have access to fridge, microwave, washing machine and drier. Wifi throughout house and fibre broadband. TV license.
Location: Cahergal between Abbeyknockmoy village (5km) 6 minutes drive and Tuam town (8km) 10 minutes drive. Buses to Galway from both. Rural location so car essential. Well connected by M17 / M6 motorway. 35 minutes drive to Galway City, 20 minutes drive to Mountbellew (out of peak traffic times). We can advise on time to leave to be on time in Galway - we've done the commute! Off street secure parking behind electric gates. Electric charging point available (charge costs can be calculated for you if needed).
Security: Phonewatch alarm system, electric gates, smoke alarms, bedroom lockable.
Who we are - couple living with a granny and an indoor friendly dog. No children in house. Plenty of quiet to study!
- Room 1 - White Room is €190 per week Sunday 6pm to Friday lunchtime.
- Room 2 - Green Room is €210 per week Sunday 6pm to Friday lunchtime.
Price includes all utilities. Hot water 24/7. Plug in electric heater to use whenever you need it . House very well insulated. Bedding, bed linen and towels provided. Room cleaned and bedding / towels washed each weekend. Breakfast included. Evening meal included.

Tell us in advance if you are away for the mid term or reading week or Easter and we won't charge for that week.
€300 cash deposit returned at end of academic year. Payment weekly or 4 weekly in advance by bank transfer or cash.
